At Intrinsic we take a modern approach to a centuries old business and invest opportunistically with our partners and the community in mind. We generally acquire and develop sites in urban areas, target assets that involve some distress or have sustained damage, problem solve to stabilize the income stream, and establish significant gains in equity value. Locations are usually close to mass transit and include office, research and development, industrial, warehouse, self-storage and retail.

Intrinsic appreciates the history of the buildings we own, which is why we renovate and revitalize their original bones for the purpose of creating spaces for tenants with entrepreneurial, creative interests, and why we cultivate active relationships with our tenants. Our goal is to provide environments that offer modern amenities and services in quality historic buildings. And though our primary focus is the acquisition of properties, we always consider the importance of developing communities in large spaces and strive to thematically place like-minded tenants including fine artists, design firms, filmmakers, software companies, yoga studios and photographers.
